LifeBytes Magazine: Florentina, it’s wonderful to have you with us today. Can you share with us how you started in the fashion industry?

Florentina Leitner: Thank you for having me. I started by studying fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. It was there that I really developed my style and vision for what I wanted to create.

Your recent collection has garnered a lot of attention. What was your inspiration for it?

My latest collection is inspired by the surreal aspects of nature. I aimed to blend the organic with the fantastic, using vibrant colors and intricate textures to create a dreamlike quality.

The industry has definitely become more digital. Social media has transformed how we present our work and interact with the audience. Sustainability has also become a crucial factor in how we design and produce.

Speaking of sustainability, how do you integrate sustainable practices into your work?

Sustainability is at the core of my work. I prioritize eco-friendly materials and strive to minimize waste in my production processes. It’s important to be mindful of our environmental impact and to strive for responsible fashion.
